For the amount of money they make and how big their company is, you would think they could afford to have tracking on their shipments. I have had multiple orders lost, misplaced and they have also informed me that they do not know what happened to the order. Another situation where the order didn't arrive and was lost, they didn't even notify me. When an order actually does arrive it takes weeks. Also, getting a hold of a customer representative is also a joke and the wait time is ridiculous. Probably because they have so many issues with their orders. And when you finally do get a hold of someone, everyone tells you something different about what happens to your order. It's a shame, because they have good products. I'll never order from them again.
So i ordered 120 4x6 prints from shutterfly to make a collage with for my room. I paid 12 dollars for shipping, and it got here in five days. That's where the good things stop. About 80% of the photos were the wrong direction, horribly cropped, or both. I spent 30 minutes on the app making sure they were cropped how I wanted, and they got it wrong somehow. And they sent me 108 prints. Not 121 like i ordered. Some of my favorite photos were left out for some reason, and i still dont know why. How it got through a quality check is beyond me. I attached some of the photos i ordered, vs what I got, so you can at least get a laugh out of it. DON'T ORDER PRINTS FROM SHUTTERFLY.

After paying $1,000 for the images from our daughter's senior photo photographer, Shutterfly was the first place I thought of for ordering prints for the family. They came today and I am so disappointed. The wallet sizes are passable, but the 4x6 and 5x7 prints are horrible. Her lipstick is bleeding onto her teeth, her nose is pixelated. They're a mess. I guess it's time to move on to a better company for prints.

WHAT A SCAM. Spend 3 hours creating a $10 book, to save 24$, just to get scammed into a $70 shipping fee. NO THANKS ScamOFly. Waste MY time with your disceptive trickery
DO NOT BELIEVE DELIVERY DATES! I am pretty sure that this company knew they would not be able to deliver my product on time, but advertised they could in order to draw people into purchasing items. No worries I will not order from here again. I placed the order on May 2nd and paid extra shipping with the delivery date between May 6- May 7- in time for Mother’s day. Now they tell me it will be days past mother’s day before my item is “shipped”...But they sure didnt hesitate to take my money.

And just box it up. I have ordered at least five puzzles from Shutterfly and I always have been satisfied. But this is the first time I had pieces that don’t match. I was hoping it would get better as I completed my 1014 piece puzzle. I’m Very sad due to I’m doing this for a good friend of mine birthday gift.
I glue and frame my Puzzles for keepsakes and gifts.
I ordered two canvasses yesterday with discounts provided. I received the email of the breakdown and although I was told free shipping there is a 19.98$ shipping fee included in my email. I followed guidelines and used the “supplied chat” and spoke with someone who told me a completely different breakdown of my items not included in email or app’s breakdown of my order and then sent me on my way. PAY ATTENTION TO THE SCAM. I WILL NEXT TIME. Seems like they are giving you more of a discount u til you read the individualized break down and realize you just got played. Definitely didn’t receive the advertised sale.
I ordered 1 25oz stainless steel water bottle for a birthday. A mistake was made and I got charged for another they told me to keep it no charge.The bottle looked good & they were nice so I decided not to give it for the birthday so I ordered 5 more to go along with the other 2 for Christmas.The first 2 I ordered came in single boxes, the next came in 3 different orders, 1 in a single box one day 2 in one box another day and 2 in another box another day. These all had the pictures of 5 generations of 1st born girls in my family. The problem was the boxes the 3 singles were ok but the other 4 2 in 1 box & 2 in another box now I don't have 4 single boxes for the 4 in 2 boxes to give and send each one I called and asked if I could get the boxes I needed even said I would pay for them and the shipping but they said NO as they were shipped in 3 orders I ordered all 5 of them at the same time but they chose to send them in 3 separate orders and if I wanted them in 5 different boxes I should have told them... So I was supposed to know that? At a further look at them the pictures were on plastic an put on the bottles (should have read the reviews first)So now I will have to search for boxes that they will fit in.SO DISAPPOINTED and MAD! Will not recommend or buy from them again! They want proof of purchase to submit with this review but I don't know how to do that I'm 74 and new at doing this sort of buying only proof of purchase is on my email and they don't enclose a receipt or invoice in the box.Don't know how to send photo's either.
I ordered a $170 photo book as a birthday present for March7 in early February. I received a damaged book so I requested a reorder. This order got lost in the mail. I was forced to reach back out once I realized the tracking information wasn’t being updated. They send me yet another book and i was told it would get here by March 7th, it hasn’t gotten to me and it’s now March 8th. So now I have paid $170 for a late present that I am now going to have to ship to the birthday boy for another $10. I have ordered multiple books and products from Shutterfly over the years and they have never treated me like this. I am disappointed to say the least.
I just received a photo book that I created using Shutterfly. The night I created it, it took 3 tries. Finally figured out how to do it and rearranged pics until there were no more warning ⚠️ signs. I was so proud of myself... It only took about 3hrs. Come to find out they still cut off parts of the pics and cut the groom's head off in several pics. I am very disappointed. The couple I gave it to appreciated it, but I feel the program is difficult to use and not very explanatory. Update: after posting this review, Shutterfly reached out to me and fixed the issues with the order. Then sent us a new photo album for Free with the corrected pictures. Thank you Shutterfly!!
I, too, ordered Christmas Cards on 11/30/20 and still haven't received them (12/23/20). They were shipped on 12/4, bounced around various areas, sat in Stockton, CA for 11 days, then were recently sent to Southern CA. I'm in Northern, CA! I called Shutterfly CS yesterday (was on hold for 90 minutes) and CS was useless -- she read the same script that everyone else heard.
I've ordered Christmas cards from Shutterfly for MANY years. This is the last. I love the quality of their products, but I will never order time-sensitive products from them ever again.
UPDATES: as of 12/29/20. My Christmas Cards haven't moved from Southern CA. I contacted Shutterfly CS yesterday and they offered me credit, which I accepted (cause I have an active photo book project). I still would like to get my cards, even though it will be too late to send them out.
It is now 1/12/21. My Christmas Cards still haven't moved from Southern CA since 12/22.
I ordered Christmas cards on December 2nd with my original delivery estimate being 12-8-12/16. I contacted customer service 12/18 to cancel the order because it had been "in transit" since the 10th and I knew they weren't going to arrive in time for me to send the cards out for Christmas. Customer service would not issue a refund and told me they were sure they'd arrive in the next few days and to contact them again after Christmas if I hadn't received them. They arrived the 29th. I contacted costumer service and was told they could issue me a 50% refund now and the rest after I ship the cards back BUT I'M RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYING THE SHIPPING FEE! I understand making me pay shipping if I wanted to return because I simply changed my mind but this order was being returned because they failed to deliver to me on time. Ridiculous. Never ordering from them again. Terrible customer service!
Terrible customer service. Would never use them again. Three of my Christmas card envelopes came misprinted with the last names cut off. I asked them to re-print just those three envelopes and I was told by Alexander on their customer service team that they could not just mail envelopes. So, what am I supposed to do with three Christmas cards without envelopes? They lost all of my future business over three envelopes. Bas business!
Like many, many others ... ordered Christmas cards that never arrived. I ordered on 11/28/20. It is now 12/28/20 and still don't have them. No real way to check on the order or contact customer service with any satisfactory results.
